Some fat retard couldn't stomach paying the $42 for a burrito they willingly ordered and used AI to lie now everyone knows about it because the fat retard spilled the beans to the Internet. Now 100,000 people will do this in the next 48 hours and suddenly apps will stop refunding online orders almost entirely and everyone else will be like "wtf happened????"

This kind of stuff is why everything semi-valuable is locked behind plexiglass at the store, McDonald's is removing drink stations, customer service is useless, and everything in general is just getting shittier. Any mechanism in society reliant on trust is a liability now.

Today I rolled out a quality of life update for the channel based on a suggestion from a comment on yesterday's video. The suggestion was to create annual playlists so longtime Optimus fans can go back to specific years and watch videos from different eras of the channel. This will also allow newer audience members to discover older videos they may have otherwise missed out on or never found from recommendations! Every year from 2019-2026 has a dedicated playlist on the channel now with all the uploads from each respective year sorted newest to oldest. I think it's a bad thing if it continues this way. Inevitably these kids become adults and their share of the customer base becomes significant, and if the industry continues to shudder studios left and right/consolidate everything under the umbrella of like 5-10 publishers this industry is genuinely super fucked even worse than people think it is today.

@SubToOptimus Thing is... Is it a positive thing or a negative thing? These games are literally made to exercise your creativity and give potential game developers room to create, but at the same time, kids won't be able to experience those original games, be it due to scalpers or no modern

Something I've noticed with younger relatives: they don't play video games outside of Roblox, Fortnite, or Minecraft. Any variation of video game they play is already within one of these three titles. As a kid I had consoles, dozens of games physically, it was a hobby. For many kids now "playing video games" means a completely different thing than it did when we were younger.

I think there's a lot of reasons this is the case, but it's definitely the case. I don't think with the current state of gaming that this will be solved anytime soon. Plus these kids have essentially been raised this way from the jump by now so I don't see some magic reset button.
