First attempt at a custom servo with harmonic reducer using off-the-shelf parts. It works, but I’m not thrilled with the results: – Couldn’t tune the controller properly due to firmware limitations – Gearbox design flaw: the output plate shifts under load (friction fit, no pins) – Awkwardly bulky — the gearbox was originally made for a stepper motor
