This moment when a Hammerhead Corvette rams into one Star Destroyer, making it crash into another, and destroying the Shield Gate above Scarif at the end of Rogue One. Never even considered that this was a possibility, so it’s safe to say my mind was blown when I first watched this happen on opening night back in 2016.

@JamieMoranUK I can't understand why 3rd person space/flight combat games are popular. Why can't we have a 1st person view? If we could get just a remake of the old school X-Wing and Tie Fighter games from the 90's I'd be so happy!

@TFTCProject @peteuplink Cleaning up my 20 year old mess of geekery-related files a little and came across this ... photographer unknown (apologies to whoever). Suffice it to say I don't think anything will be visible without better lighting, but I strongly suspect the area was restored in the refurb.

So I've always wondered and I've never found any information about this, what is this maybe 'defect' here in the Saucer section here, it looks like its slightly crumpled. This is present in every use of this particular flyby shot. Maybe you know @gaghyogi49 or even @MikeOkuda ?

@TheTruth1701A @TFTCProject @gaghyogi49 The 6' model was extremely smooth, so smooth that our VFX teams placed a light almost exactly in line with the surface of the saucer, in order to accentuate the surface detail. This had the effect of greatly exaggerating some tiny variations in the surface of the model.
