During the build-up to the 2023 election, I boarded a tricycle (Keke Napep) from Aba main park to MCC junction, along Aba-owerri road. During the journey, the rider started a discussion on politics and the coming election. I asked him who he was going to vote for as President and he said Tinubu. I asked him why he preferred Tinubu to Peter Obi, and this man started telling how Tinubu is the greatest politician and that immediately Tinubu becomes President, that Nigeria will become like Dubai. I told him that Tinubu has no track record of being a good leader, but this man said he would never vote for Peter Obi against the "Jagaban of Africa". I told him he would regret voting for Tinubu and he said I was talking as a young man while he's an elder. We exchanged contracts and I alighted. After the presidential election, he called and made mockery of me that Tinubu has won. Guess what!!! One year after the election, the owner of the Keke collected it from him because he couldn't meet up with the account. How did I know? He called me to ask for help to pay his children's school fees because the school told them to stop coming until they pay. As a good person, I asked him to call his account number and after calling it, I told him to forward it to the Jagaban of Africa. If you support Tinubu, don't ever seek for my help, because I won't.

I went through the comments section of this South African lady who just got married to a Nigerian and saw the kind of hatred and evil prayer her fellow South Africans were praying for her and shook my head. There's no difference between Sad Africans and our Nigerian neighbours here.
