@Timthemoran The ERA can get worse. The starters lack of deep outings is a strain on a weak pen. The repeated and lengthy outings are going to strain those arms and make them worse for the wear. Getz screwed up not having at least one or two good starters rather than this group of 5s

Lenyn Sosa, our reigning HR leader, has to sit for one of two reasons: - Hapless Everson Pereira needs at-bats (??) - Benintendi is such a bad fielder he has to DH I'm not sure which explanation is more frustrating

@JohnGorlewski He does though! Benintendi can play outfield and Sosa can slot in at DH. Benintendi is a bad fielder but not enough to warrant this nonsense 2 out of 3 games so far.

@JohnGorlewski That's silly, and I'm not judging based on the 6 PAs. Sosa is coming off a decent 22-HR season, Pereira has never been even close to good in the MLB. One of these guys guys deserves the ABs over the other based on everything but the 6 PAs lol.

@Timthemoran If we're going to play the miniscule sample size game, Sosa's had 6 PAs and hasn't gotten on base. Pereira at least has gotten a walk. Benintendi is 1-4. Players have to take advantages of their opportunities.
