While I’m filling up, my phone buzzes… $90 sale on eBay I can’t control it but I can list against it But real question should we have to have a side hustle just to fill up our gas tank?

@WeddingVenueGuy When I’ve worked local in the area I’ve gotten up to 5% only once but average is 1-2% depending on if it’s freebies. Main issue is you’re catering to unknown demographics Still the highest low budget ROI and if you log the addresses that redeemed you can build a mail list fast.

Almost 300 of these have been redeemed. They go through this coming weekend and from what I heard the most are redeemed right before they expire. Anyone know what a good conversion rate on mailers are? I would say this feels low ish, will see how we finish. Plan to do them again in December and I bet more get redeemed the second time around. Overall I feel like it’ll lead to building up a consistent costumer base.

Demo day! 25k budget all in budget including all new furniture. 2 months ago we closed on 4 coffee shops. All one brand (not a franchise) but zero brand consistency across the board. Most people have no idea there are multiple shops or that they are all connected. Our goal is to change this. We are going shop by shop and cleaning them up/remodeling and will rebrand under a new modern look. There are a lot of coffee brands out there but we are going to stand out by creating an experience for our guest vs the ultra drive thru sugar drinks model.

Many years ago, while traveling to Europe, I realized how much less expensive luxury goods are. Brands such as Dior, Prada, Channel, Louis Vuitton etc can easily be like 40% less expensive than in NYC. That difference in pricing is related to levied import duties, sales taxes, plus VATs being refunded if you’re a traveler. So the company is not actually discounting anything, it’s the same exact product minus all the layers of taxes. The issue is that not every product or company trades at the same discounts. Plus every country has different prices as well. These products have become a huge business especially in the recent years. LVMH alone does $90 BILLION in revenue now. So it’s not just rich people buying $5000 bags, this is mainstream. So do the math on the savings, it’s enough to pay for travel. Also I know some people were using this for making some arbitrage side hustle. I mentioned this to my son, and he decided to build PriceSatellite. It’s a site that compares prices globally on any single product across many of the major brands. So if you’re traveling somewhere this summer and plan to do some shopping, check it out.
