My dryer broke, instead of going out and buying a new one, I bought a 16$ replacement part and fixed it myself. How many people out here today can say honestly they are fixing there things instead of tossing them and buy a new one.

A traffic stop can look routine, but there's no such thing for the officer walking up to that window. They never truly know who or what they're facing, or how desperate someone might be. That kind of uncertainty takes grit. It's why I back the blue-because they step into harm's way every single day so the rest of us can make it home safe. 👍 I want to thank @crimefix000 for sharing this with me Part 2 in comments ⭐️

@RazForce1 The amount of times I’ve sold that book I should have read it by now. I don’t normally read fiction, but if you’re recommending it, I’ll put it on the list

I owe all of my success in life to reading books. If I hadn’t read Delivering Happiness, I would have never read Crush it! And I wouldn’t be on the path I’m on now Read as many non fictions books as you possibly can What are some of the books that have had the biggest impact on your life?

@ReezyResells @grok They are both older books but the info holds true, eating on the wild side teaches you how to shop for the most nutritious stuff and how to cook to add more nutrition ex: letting your garlic sit out 15 min on the counter after it is chopped doubles it nutrients.

You know, I used to think reading was mostly for folks who had more time on their hands than I did. But over the years a few books found me when I needed them most. Viktor Frankl’s Man’s Search for Meaning hit me hard. Reading about what people went through in the camps and still finding a reason to keep going... that one stuck with me through some dark stretches. Another one that made me think different was The Body Keeps the Score. It helped me understand why we carry old shit around in our bones long after the mess happened. And of course there’s the one I wrote myself — The Power of DUNG. Not because I’m some expert, but because it came straight out of my own pile of mistakes, failed marriage, burnout, and trying to figure out how to keep moving forward without pretending I had it all together. Most of the books that actually changed me weren’t written by guys in suits. They were written by people who got knocked flat and had to find their way back up. Life Happens. Watch Your Step. — Buck
