@paleochristcon It’s normal as new technology is implemented for there to not be any attrition at the start, but the number of available jobs is greatly reduced while pay is as well. As a data analyst I have been unemployed for 3 years and the average pay has gone from ~75K to ~60K.

So let me get this straight. The same people demanding we abolish ICE also insist Americans ignore the consequences of an unsecured border and stop asking questions when preventable tragedies occur. Every nation on Earth has borders. Every nation on Earth enforces immigration laws. Every nation on Earth decides who can enter, who can stay, and who must leave. Yet somehow America is supposed to be the only exception. Here in Western New York, families are grieving after a horrific quadruple homicide allegedly involving a Yemeni immigrant family. Before the facts are even gathered, activists are already demanding less enforcement, fewer safeguards, and even less accountability. Americans are not asking for chaos. Americans are asking for secure borders, lawful immigration, proper vetting, and public safety. If your solution to every failure is to eliminate enforcement altogether, you’re not solving a problem. You’re pretending human nature doesn’t exist. The first responsibility of government is protecting its own citizens. Everything else comes after that.

We do not need ICE. It is an agency that has been turned into a weapon to terrorize American communities and murder American citizens. Scrap it and start over.

First of all, I happen to know of at least 2 co-conspirators and 1 murderer who do not think it’s a tragedy, and if you’re honest with yourself you’ll admit there’s a whole lot more. Secondly - I think Britons saw what happened in that body cam footage and saw themselves cuffed on the ground. They saw their own sons. They saw a boy murdered by a weapon that they themselves aren’t legally allowed to carry, wielded legally by a man whose non-British culture makes him a protected class with extra privileges. They had to wait until now to hear about it because the institutions who claim to look out for them hid the murder from them. Nobody reported on it. The government kept it quiet, and now only after the trial has ended, do they mention the story, hoping to GOD Americans didn’t hear about it and report on it. They watched the police, who are sworn to protect them, disregard a boys plea for his life, cuffed him and treated him like a villain, while his murderer stood over his body and watched him take his last breath, still justifying the murder by lying about thought crimes. All the while, native Britons have been terrified of speaking to their own thoughts, under threat of prison for their words, thoughts, and beliefs. It is political. Britons don’t want to be the next innocent person bleeding out in cuffs because their own police have a policy to treat whites with an automatic disposition of guilt. It is political because foreigners are allowed to carry weapons they themselves cannot. It is political because their thoughts and words are crimes, and if someone accuses them of said crime, they cannot defend their innocence - even if they are bleeding out on a driveway. @Not_Firestine This was PERFECTLY stated and sums up what many feel after watching that footage. My own son is 22, and yes, that is what I saw in that video. This hit WAY too close to home, because that is what could happen here in the blink of an eye if we don’t take steps to avoid it.
