Call of Duty has officially gone full tyrant mode. I received a DMCA copyright strike that temporarily locked my X account over a parody operator bundle concept I made for comedy. The post literally stated: “Fan made concept for entertainment purposes only. Not an official Call of Duty or Activision product.” The intent was humor. Not damage. Not misinformation. Not impersonation. Just comedy and creativity from someone passionate about the franchise. If the issue was the post itself, a simple message asking me to remove it would’ve been enough. I would’ve deleted it immediately. Instead, they chose to hit my account with a strike and lock me out entirely. That’s the real issue here. Call of Duty keeps taking 3 steps forward and 6 backwards by attacking the very community that supports them. Fans who spent thousands on games, bundles, skins, battle passes, consoles, PCs, and years grinding this franchise are now getting treated like enemies for making jokes, memes, concepts, and opinions online. We create content for this game every single day. We defend this game every single day. We keep this franchise alive socially every single day. Silencing fans because you think something is “bad publicity” for the next Call of Duty title is not the move. Freedom of speech and parody matter. Communities matter. Fans matter. To everyone else who’s been hit with strikes, takedowns, or account actions over harmless fan content post your experience below. People deserve to see what’s happening. And to whoever is running the Call of Duty social media operation right now: you owe this community an apology. This might honestly be my last post here. It’s been one hell of a run. This may he goodbye.
