@AirwingMarine I had fiber 1gig up/down and then moved out to a temporary situation and currently have 300 down and 40 up. Can’t wait to get fiber back

The way stuff works out sometimes is so funny.
Been working through getting fiber installed at my house for months now. Winter here in Montana poses some unique issues, so that's a part of why it's drug out.
We were supposed to get set up for 2.5 gig up/down last week. Well, the hardware they brought was broken or had some issue, and they didn't have replacements, so they were going to overnight the 1gig hardware.
Something went wrong with that order, and it didn't show up. But the outfit wanted to keep to the timeline so they just installed 10 gig up/down hardware 🤣.
No extra cost for the hardware, and in fact they are giving us a $50 amazon card for the hassle.
They are going to throttle us down to the lower speed, BUT... if I ever want 10 gig for some reason... I can get it with a phone call and the flip of a switch 😁
I'm capped at 1 gig now simply cause some of the wiring in the house is old and only cat5e. I'll get that upgraded. But man this is a game changer for me!

@SocialNomadRach You’re getting a lot of shit in the comments but I agree with you, too much entitlement has come from tipping culture, including food/restaurant owners feeling entitled to not pay their employees.

The attachments need to be changed. Instead of making the bad ones better, they made the good ones worse in order to close the gap and give variety. The thought is good but they did it backwards

I continue to push my self in @tarkov And I am damn proud of my self for fighting on Reserve alone (I know this may not be a big deal to some)
BUT.... Pushing fights I normally wouldn't, fighting more tactically, and confidentially.
My husband has helped me so much with gun fights and how to stand my ground when doing so! BIG shout outs to him!!

When 1.0 came out I reset my PvE account so that it would have the new content. Just opened it up for the first time to play with a friend whose not a fan of PvP.
When I opened it looked normal, starting gear, no quests done, and fresh. But I'm Level 26, and have prestige 1 tag

Ran up a $1500 dinner tab and when the receipt came back they had those cute little “suggested tips” printed like I’m supposed to casually drop another $300 just because someone carried plates from kitchen to table. I left $25 which honestly felt generous considering I already paid restaurant-level prices for the food itself.
Server immediately got weird about it, attitude switched, barely a thank you, just that tight smile people do when they think you violated some unspoken rule. I told her straight up tipping isn’t a percentage subscription service and I’m not funding someone’s rent just because the bill happened to be high.
Manager wandered over trying to smooth it out, hinting about “industry standards” like that magically obligates me. That only made me dig in harder because nowhere else do you get charged more for the exact same task just because the total went up.
So I signed it exactly how it was, stood up, and walked out while they all stared like I committed financial treason, and if they think I’m coming back there to play along with that system again they’re seriously confused.

I’m actually so for this. Screw paying $300 for bringing plate. Manager can pay them a really wage when the restaurant is charging that much for food.
