Per a source, Kentucky assistant Jason Hart is *likely* to accept the head coaching position at Pepperdine University. This would be Hart’s first DI head coaching position and put him back in his home state.

Sources: Cal State Bakersfield is targeting USC’s Todd Lee to be its next head basketball coach. Nothing is done, but the two sides are now working through details of a deal that would make Lee — the former head coach at South Dakota — the Roadrunners’ next head coach.

Nolan Smith didn't get the Tennessee State job until July of last summer. After winning the regular season, they just won the Ohio Valley title and an auto bid to the NCAA Tournament. As good of a coaching job as ANYONE in college hoops. Congrats @TSUTigersMBB

Absolutely heartbreaking news out of Sacramento as it was announced that Christian Brothers freshman phenom Jaden DeJesus-Eves passed away unexpectedly yesterday. My thoughts are with the @brothershoops family and his loved ones. Tragic news and a young man gone far too soon.

Cal State Eastbay is having a huge D2 year - undefeated so far at 27-0 & sitting at #2 nationally. Looking back last few years, I'm not at all surprised. Hard work often pays off & East Bay staff was pounding recruiting trail hard last few years notably assistant Russell Payne
