As much as I advise men to be present during the birth of their child, it’s also important to note that not everyone can handle the after-effects of labor. Watching your woman go through that level of pain especially if the baby’s head is as big as mine and seeing the doctor make that little cut for an easier delivery can be mentally heavy. I know a brother who hasn’t impregnated his wife again since witnessing that. It affected his sex life completely. He said, “She’s not going through that again.” She is always laughing at him claiming she wants to go again. By the way, the man even fainted when he first saw the process. So please, if deep down you know you can’t handle the sight of your wife giving birth, stay outside until the doctors are done!
