Norway: drills for oil and gas... and gets rich - Norway’s sovereign wealth fund: ~$2 trillion - Exports the same oil and gas to the UK UK: taxes the O&G sector heavily (~78%) and bans exploration - The O&G industry is in recession, contracting ~15% per year - and losing ~1,000 jobs per month The UK shut down domestic oil and gas... not to cut emissions, but to import the same energy from elsewhere.

Brilliant solar exhibition by @CPRENorfolk covered on @BBCFarmingToday Best and most versatile farmland should NOT be covered by solar panels. It should be on rooftops and car parks. There are enough south-facing warehouse roofs for 50% of England's electricity needs.
