@Man_On_Sports @KAMMYwithaK @PaddyArsenal First of all it’s Yaya
Then the point was obvious that he was the best in that role so yes obviously he’s better than merino
English

@KAMMYwithaK @PaddyArsenal This might be the worst of these takes I've seen. Merino has no skillset close to kolo, let alone his brother
English

One of the most unique players ever. What do you mean you won a Champions League final playing at centre back and a Premier League title scoring 20 goals from midfield
h🪐p@HWestwoodP
one of the best comps ever
English

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow This is absolutely crucial and definitely something someone with your knowledge and platform should be engaging in.
All reasonable caveats will I am sure be given.
Great to see
English

For the 1st time ever in its 13yr history, tonight 8pm @itvMLshow is a beginners guide to investing. Who should invest, how much, where & how? I'm a touch nervous as its outside my usual territory, but I've a panel to answer Qs and think its a crucial topic.
Got questions you want to suggest send them to the team at martinlewis@itv.com

This UK budget has been an absolute circus for weeks and weeks.
Rumours. Uncertainty.
And this tops it off 😂
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford
BREAKING: The OBR has published its economic and fiscal outlook BEFORE the Budget. It's unprecedented. Treasury will be furious
English

@makingmsimple Not entirely accurate because I did an isa transfer which isn’t being calculated accurately.
But:
1st April +11.5%
Today: + 36.7%
English

@AdamCC92 @earnlearninvest Why would they be closed? Next market holiday is thanksgiving
English

@earnlearninvest Aren’t Americans markets closed on Monday?
English

@earnlearninvest People will mock this till they see you returns like this and suddenly ask “How??”
It all starts small

£670 of income just from buying some shares 👏👏 Not a great deal of work in it. And if you keep adding or even just holding, that number will increase each year or quarter. This is why we invest 📈📈

@BeeMoneySavvy Current mortgage is £983 🤮
On the SVR about to exchange to sell 🤞🏽
English

@Cazbat1978 @padwrondularde @MartinSLewis Investing is not “risky”.
Completely outdated view. On average it beats any other way of growing your money and if you “lost it all” investing in a sensible way, the world has collapsed.
Mortgage v Investing comes down to your interest rate as to whether it is worth it
English

@padwrondularde @MartinSLewis Paying off your mortgage will save you possibly thousands of £'s in interest over the term of your mortgage. Keeping as little as £200 on it can keep your deeds with the bank in safety and may not require any monthly payments. Investing is risky you may loose it all. My POV.

@MartinSLewis INSTRUCTION.
PS5 that we use for TV as well as games, noisy fan and shutting off. Only 5 years old.
YouTube up, specialized screwdriver ordered, cleaned and hoovered fan and rear vent. Technically invalidates the warranty.
Now working perfectly.
English

TELL US: Instruction v Destruction! When've u not followed official product instructions and come a cropper or come out smiling? Eg
- Washed something dry clean only (as its too costly)
- Took mobile apart to fix
Pls post ur tales by reply starting with INSTRUCTION (if good result) or DESTRUCTION (bad) and the producers will pick some to read out on my pod. And do tell us exactly what happened & like your faves too
English

@BeeMoneySavvy I’m an outlier in this.
I don’t do the whole “pay yourself first thing”
I pay off my credit card spending for the month (all day to day spending) purely for satisfaction.
Then add to bills pot, which is early the most critical.
Then I save, but aim ahead of time for 30%
English

@BeeMoneySavvy Definitely aligned but the win level changes priorities.
At that level priority would be buying a house outright
English

@ganwani @elpredestinato1 They also have a limit on sim hours yes
English

@elpredestinato1 Limitations on being in the simulator? Since when?
English

Michael Schumacher spent hours upon hours everyday testing and refining the car on the Fiorano test track in Maranello. If either of the current Ferrari drivers are interested in racing and F1 they should be on the track or in the simulator relentlessly.

@TrueNerth @MartinSLewis What on earth would make you think it would be “designed to manipulate them”
English

@WealthLesson @MartinSLewis And how do you think people will react when they realise that the 'person' they have an ongoing relationship with is a machine designed to manipulate them?
English

@TrueNerth @MartinSLewis I think you’re massively underestimating the improvement curve and how good it currently is.
People hate speaking to terrible machines, which don’t speak naturally and respond to your inputs.
Good AI absolutely does that.
English

@WealthLesson @MartinSLewis Automated reminders are not tearing a tradesman a new arsehole to get his arse in gear.
People HATE speaking with machines, particularly when they're angry.
The question was regarding AI in the next 5 years.
AI has massive promise, but it will not replace everyone in 5 years.
English

@TrueNerth @MartinSLewis -Yes it would be automated reminders etc.
-Yes AI has good tone now
- Probably, but that’s a manual service which is probably safe for a while…hence I didn’t use it as an example
English

@WealthLesson @MartinSLewis Can the AI yell at the plumber for not turning up on time? Can AI calm down angry clients?
More to the point, can the AI do plumbing???
English

@Glen_NQDC @GuyTalksFinance I think it’s now approaching a 20 year old asset.
I’m not saying it’s a reliable as Gold….but I think the troupe of “it’s going to Zero, it’s so unstable” etc etc. are tired now.
The transition needs to be made from “it’s Risky” to “you need to have stomach for volatility”
English

@WealthLesson @GuyTalksFinance Mainstream asset classes have decades or 100s of yrs of history
Gold advocates can point to decades plus of official data … & thousands of yrs of actual existence
Re Bitcoin “has succeeded over the years” implies that you see that as enough history?
English

Here’s my take on Bitcoin:
I would rather own some and be wrong than take the risk of missing out on huge potential profits.
I’m not a huge believer, but unless there’s a huge liquidity event I think there’s a better chance of it going to $1 million dollars instead of $0.
The risk/reward for a small portfolio allocation is worth it to me.
