At 11:24am local time (7/30/2025), a magnitude 8.8 earthquake occurred near the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia. Tsunami alerts were issued around the Pacific Basin. I went on a little trip today and look what I found! When they knocked down Oak Park secondary school, they replaced it with houses, naming the roads after the old headmasters. My Grandad was one of those headmasters.
