I don’t know if you all agree with me or not but my main point is. It’s not that they took a dart throw at a QB it’s what a lot of us wanted. It’s the fact they traded up to do it. This is the 4th round not the 6th round. There were olineman and safeties that were still on the board. The DT we took that to me is another wasted pick. Hard to say - My general read is it feels like it is more of a league wide assumption they are drafting Bailey due to AG's job status, a Hutchinson vs Walker comparison that feels like a bit of a stretch and Bailey having the presumed the higher floor vs anything directly coming from the team but we'll see

Was not point of what we're saying (maybe comes through better in full episode) but point is commonly shared logic that taking Bailey at #2 is what they are doing because he is quicker, more straightforward 2026 impact to help save this regime's job is bad logic on the 2nd pick in the draft. You are trying to find a star in that draft slot. Go for ceiling, not floor. If their logic is Bailey can be a star, is better all around prospect and will be better over next 6-10 years than Reese, than fine but you can't draft through a one year lens for a HC who was 3-14 in year one.

This whole idea that when drafting a Receiver we need to find someone to just compliment Wilson like he’s Chase or Puka. He is not. So if you’re drafting just to have a number two receiver that’s silly. If Wilson was on the cowboys he is their immediate number two not number one. So my point is draft the elite talent and if he turns out to be our number 1 receiver in a few years that’s great. #Jetup
