When I published these two 12 & 10 years ago, it did seem the penny had finally dropped as to how economics depended on healthy Nature, & that the days of ‘get rid of the green crap’ & ‘the anti-growth coalition’ were behind us. Looks like new editions might be needed…

We welcome the Land Use Framework. As a society, we can and must take a more strategic view of how we use land to deliver the Government's legal targets to halt and reverse nature decline, while enabling the food, new homes and infrastructure England needs.

Wonderful to see the work of Wash Wader Research Group, ringing & data gathering from 330 Oystercatchers netted this morning. Mostly Scandinavian birds, some over 20 years old. Vital information collected to monitor the state of The Wash & its globally important bird life.
