This is the most anti-abortion day of the year. All pro-life organizations should consider this day the most important one. Today we celebrate the moment when God became a baby in the womb of Our Lady. There He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and He developed little by little for 9 months, until He was ready to see the light of day. It was on this day that the Word of God became flesh. This day of the Annunciation is the day of the Incarnation. From then on, God was already among us. Not only in Spirit, as He is everywhere because He is Omnipresent, but also already united to human nature, which He came to rescue from the clutches of Satan. This new life, united to the divinity, was not just a cluster of cells, disposable like so many cells, or some kind of cyst that can be removed from the body because it is bothersome. It was a truly human life in its initial stage, the stage through which every one of us has passed, without exception. The commemoration of the Incarnation of God on this day is a cry to all Humanity of how grave it is to abort a baby who is growing in his mother’s womb. That is why the Devil, who rejoices in the abuse and death of children, hates this day so much.
