Microsoft is phasing out SMS text codes for logging into and recovering personal Microsoft accounts.
This targets personal accounts used for services like Xbox, Windows, Outlook, OneDrive, and more. It does not currently apply to work or school accounts.
The company states that SMS-based authentication has become a leading source of fraud, mainly through SIM-swapping attacks and mobile network breaches
Instead of SMS codes, users should set up:
>Passkeys: These use your device’s built-in biometrics for one-tap sign-ins.
>Verified backup email
>Microsoft Authenticator app.
During sign-in, Microsoft will prompt users to “Sign in faster” and create a passkey.

🔥 BREAKING 🔥
Farm murder Australia.
Foreigners are breaking into Aussie farms & stealing livestock.
People are getting attacked & now a Farmer has been murdered.
A sheep farmer was dragged to his death like a scene from classic Australian movie Mad Max, before he was shot and buried in a shallow grave on his own property, police say.
Richard 'Willsy' Wills, 65, was last seen leaving his home in Ouyen, about 450km north-west of Melbourne near the South Australian border, on Easter Sunday.
Victorian detectives believe he suffered a horrendous ordeal before being fatally shot, including being dragged behind an unidentified vehicle.
The murder comes after repeated complaints from farmers in the Clunes region about organised foreign crime gangs stealing their sheep over the past year.
It is understood that, shortly before his death, Mr Wills had reported some of his sheep had also been stolen. It seems that they came back for more.
This will only get worse.
This is happening locally to me too. Lots of stories from friends & locals.
They are also slaughtering & butchering our Kangaroos & other wildlife.
Farmers Stay Alert, Be Prepared & Stay Safe 🙏🏼🤍

@TheOzCannoli @jdsicily1898 @TruthFairy131 Not illegal what so ever. If a genuine, imminent threat to life exists and your response with the firearm is reasonable and necessary in the circumstances, Australian law recognises self-defence and you will not be criminally liable for the use of the firearm.
English

@jdsicily1898 @TruthFairy131 It’s illegal in Australia to use legally owned firearms for self defence.
And the gun and the ammunition must also be locked up at all times when not being used.

@craigkellyAFEE It ain’t all bad… by partnering with the US it will develop a further alternate supply chain for critical resources. The US can further insulate its semiconductor manufacturing, including TSMC's Arizona fabs from Chinese market dominance.

THE DEAL: ALBANESE GOT PLAYED
While the mindless drones in the media have been celebrating the deal struck between Trump and Albanese, without having a clue about the details, we can now see that Albanese was completely played by Trump, and this "deal" will be very costly to Australia.
Under the terms of the deal released by the US Embassy in Canberra, Australia is required to invest an extra 1 trillion dollars ($1,000 billion) in the USA by 2035.
That’s $100 billion a year for the next ten years of Australian wealth that, instead of being invested in Australia to create jobs here, will instead be shipped offshore to "create tens of thousands of new high-paying jobs for AMERICANS."
And what are we getting in return?
The factsheet released by the US Embassy states:
"The Export-Import Bank of the United States is issuing seven Letters of Interest for more than $2.2 billion in financing, unlocking up to $5 billion of total investment, to advance critical minerals and supply-chain security projects between our two countries."
So it’s 1,000 to 5.
Under this deal, Australia has to invest $1,000 billion in the US, and the US only invests $5 billion in Australia return.
Has there ever been a more one-sided deal?
This is the cost to Australia of the weak and incompetent Albanese, and selfish individuals like Rudd, who should have immediately resigned when Trump became President again.
Trump knew that Albanese was so desperate to be seen doing any "deal" and that corrupt media could report as a "success" for Albanese, that Trump could make the terms as totally favourable to the US, and the weak, incompetent Albanese would be happy to sign.
Australia has been dudded in this one-sided deal, and the hopelessly incompetent Albanese and Rudd are to blame.
And as usual, don’t expect any of this to reported by the corrupt and dishonest Australian media.
And don’t expect the hopeless weak and cowardly Liberal Party to say anything.
