@labstamil How about we call them both propaganda and call it a day?
English

@Dhanan_jayan_ @ilaiyaraaja What kind of childish metrics game is this? Any composer who was born after techniques were created could have used these things. (And many have.) I could just as well say he never composed serialist music & therefore not a “complete” composer.
Just enjoy the music and move on.
English

#Ilaiyaraaja is the world's raddest, genius of an original Composer!!
#Raaja has composed music using the musical forms, formal structures & philosophies of all 4 MAJOR ERAS of Western Classical music!!
Let's not put our limitations {in knowledge} onto him!!
RADDEST RAAJA🛐

Polladha Manidhan@Dhanan_jayan_
*This is the rarest blog series that is so precise about '#Ilaiyaraaja x WCM' & a lot more *It's mind-blowing to read that Raaja has used the philosophies, forms & formal structures of all 4 major eras of WCM *how is it even possible for 1 human being, saar? 😵💫😵💫

@i_sreenivas Hopefully they get to sit comfortably and in safety before boarding the bus.

@JustCuriousMate @BalakrishnanR FII don’t care what ladder retail people climbed and whether they climbed one at all. If you don’t understand a topic, ask questions. Why would you make a fool of yourself in public?
English

@BalakrishnanR Sounds like something that a boomer would say after enjoying decades of zero capitals gains and sitting on those untaxed gains as capital
Classic kicking of ladder after having climbed them

STT and Capital Gains do not drive away anyone.
Aditya Singhania@adityasinghania
Dear Finance minister and Dear PM, please open your eyes. With current situation Rupee will hit 100= 1 dollar in no time. If you don't stop FII outflow there will be serious damage to the economy and Indian currency. Remove taxation STT and Captial gains for Foreign institutions and see the inflows resume to our economy @nsitharaman @nsitharamanoffc @PMOIndia

Humans could have just ate grass, drank water, walked around tropical forests, taking afternoon naps, trailing along with Herds of Elephants for safety. #Utopia
Instead, we chose to debug race conditions, detect memory leaks, etc. And now AI is doing those better than us.

@Kingshuk1314 @aravind And neither had Dipu Chanda Das been born.
If you want to argue for the sake of arguing, we can stay here till the cow comes home.
English

@actcustomer @aravind It was not another country when Gandhi made this "modification".
English

@Kingshuk1314 @aravind This has nothing to do with the internal affairs of another country.
English

@actcustomer @aravind I don't have video from any temple readily available so can't counter your claim, however the moot point is that only one side has accepted it to some extent. Dipu Chandra Das was lynched in Bangladesh for saying the exact same thing, so it is not conspiracy but naive stupidity.
English

@Intrinsic_cycle Haha, limited options. We aren’t even yet at the denial stage below. First sign of that will be drastic reductions in net SIP inflow. The further fall from there without anything to keep the indices up, we will enter into panic.
English

@Kingshuk1314 @aravind FWIW, temples didn’t and don’t play it either. It would help to understand the context in which it came up and not treat it as a conspiracy.
English

@actcustomer @aravind How spectacularly failed since not a single mosque played this ever. This is the legacy of Gandhi.
English

@friendsofwealth @InvestRepeat They are not even good with equities. 🙃
English

@actcustomer @InvestRepeat Most equity investors can’t understand gold and crypto
English

In the month of Jan 2026, for the 1st time ever we have a situation when people have invested more money in Gold & Silver ETFs than equity mutual funds.
Irony is, investors & MFDs tell me - we buy cheap & sell costly.
When was gold & silver costliest in last 10 years? It was Jan 2026. And it was the time when gold & silver inflows was highest ever.
- Sankaran Naren, CIO ICICI Mutual Fund

English

@aditya942000 Yes, because the world was exactly like this on both occasions.
English

@Kingshuk1314 @aravind To ensure people see the goodness in others avoid being killed by brainwashed boors.
English

@actcustomer @aravind Then wtf was the f***ing point of this Gandhian sh!thousery?
English

@friendsofwealth @InvestRepeat Depends on where forecast are from, and most forecasts are rarely even good enough. The whole narrative about gold increasing was “geopolitical uncertainty”, and then when the Iran thing happened, gold came down along with equities and hasn’t managed to recover.
English

Cheap and costly are relative words. If the forecast is accurate on what happens after the war is over, then maybe gold is cheap and equity is still expensive.
Naren is a great guy, and he is usually and mostly right. The advantage with funds is they are clinical in chaging the philosphy and instrument when the winds change.
Retail doesnt change. They don't book losses. They don't book profits either unless they need the money. They don't swap to another asset class too.
English

@actcustomer @aravind Has any mosque ever played this modified version?
English

@winaybharathraj @aravind Do you feel afraid in a Hindu majoritarian country?
English

@actcustomer @aravind The question is why does this "secularism" flow only one way
English

@SankaraSubrache @BalambalMurali But have they put out a systematic plan about it? Do the governments have a record of tree rehab? Most car users will simply forget it and will only focus on how the traffic has worsened. Then more widening. Rinse, repeat.
English

@actcustomer @BalambalMurali There must be a way for rehabilitation of these trees.. road widening is a must .. few trees we if we have to sacrifice let us.. the vehicular pollution will reduce..
English

Growing up in Kotturpuram, we watched these trees rise from saplings into living pillars of our neighbourhood. Today, it’s not tears, it’s rage.
The DMK government is ruthlessly cutting down hundreds of these trees in the name of S.P. Road expansion.
If they had even a shred of environmental conscience, they would have built an elevated road. But that would require intent; not corruption.
This isn’t development. It’s destruction dressed up as progress and Chennai must remember this on 23Rd April.
