My QA buffer is 150% filled (the entire batch should be fully QAed a second time by tomorrow). I am going to work on getting batch 1 free cases available for order today, and use those to train new staff on packing/shipping. We are looking at Friday or Monday for batch 2.

@TakiUdon_ The link “More payment options” does not point anywhere. Hope there’s some other options for payment besides Paypal which is not functional in Turkiye. Basic credit card paymend would pretty much suffice.

@zekzekus MS evil iken, oss’ye (platform, software) gecip cok sey kazanmistik. Tek derdimiz windows only applerdi. Ama resmen ufkumuz acilmisti. Simdi Apple ekosisteminden oss’ye gecis tam tersi geriye goturuyor her anlamda.

Paul Graham@paulg

Apple just terminated Epic's developer account, and they admitted that this tweet was one of the reasons. We don't want to think about Apple being evil. It would be so inconvenient. We don't want to switch to Android. But I see ever more signs that power has corrupted them.

@aksoy @ozselgin Ben kosmuyorum. DC rainmaker’in detayli incelemesi var.

Herkes kafadan sallamis. Doymus (saturated) yag kotu degil (bknz coconut oil).

@lzsthw I could be tiny little nobody, and I sure do not have the popularity of yours, but you haven't grown up even a bit in years. You can't keep calm conversations like a MAN, and always end up insulting people. Many exampes in your bright history of social behavior.

@amiroff Ooooohhh so scawey. Tiny little nobody with a fragile ego will write a propaganda piece claiming to debunk my real world experience using Motte-and-Bailey castles filled with Strawmen so he can keep gouging customers to maintain their slow Django websites. Somebody save me!

Last night I officially killed off my ancient Django app and shut it all down. I've been trying to destroy that thing for about 6 years but only recently had a viable transition path in the last 2 years. I'll have a blog post on how and why I got rid of Django soon, but mostly: 1. Constant pointless API changes due to poorly designed APIs from the beginning meant that I ended up doing more work rewriting my code to satisfy their arbitrary unilateral changes than actually working on the app. 2. I got tired of managing 6 files just to make a
. 3. Its design is an antiquated 2000s era Java OOP festival I'm tired of seeing in web development. 4. Django is consistently at the _bottom_ of all performance metrics you'll find, which means that my tiny little site that can run in a VPS in most languages required a beefy server running 100 django processes just to handle 10s of users. 5. Django's ORM is easily the worst ORM out there, but honestly all ORMs (even ones I wrote) are pretty bad due to the mismatch between SQL and OOP. Same for its templates, routing, just about everything is hard and weird to work with compared to modern stacks. 6. I believe the Django Core changed their attitude from "we'd like your help" to "you owe us your free time" and I'm really against projects with this attitude now. Django wouldn't exist without the users picking it for their projects, so I find it disrespectful that Django Core devs act like we owe _them_ for their mediocre code that's only popular because of us. That's a short list which I'll expand on in the article later.

@amiroff Really, so the dude who gets paid to create Django code says that he's able to make a viable Django app? Gee, sound like one of my other criticisms is valid too. Keep going man, you just keep digging yourself a deeper hole.
