@champwebdotnet Meh. I just never felt the pressure or excitement I normally do. A big part of that is only 33 entries. But also with no wrecks in 4 practice days there's no sense of danger or that the cars are hard to drive. Just seems like everybody has it dialed in.

This 500 build up has had little intrgue to me. That's not to say I haven't been excited or am not excited for next weekend. But like, there's been no wrecks, no drama in qualifying, and the best driver just got the pole.

Its been a pretty ho-hum Indy 500 so far but I'm expecting today to be wild. There haven't been any wrecks so far but could that change with tracks conditions we haven't seen this year? Plus interested to see if a team nobody expects to be fast nails the setup today.

#Indy500 Qualifying has been postponed until Sunday. Practice split group, 30min apiece, 9:30am-10:30am Qualifying starts at 12pm: All 33 drivers will get a single attempt. At 4:30pm, the Top 12 run, single attempt. At 6pm, the Fast 6, single attempt, pole is set. @RACERHQ

@500Indy1911 Ive bought a Bronze badge and gotten a program signed every year since 2013. Ive noticed its always the same people every year with the mountain of crap they want signed. Ill admit I'm part of the "autograph chasers club" but I do try to always let kids cut in front of me.

This might not be a popular opinion, but the autograph hounds in the garage this year are out of control. Carts, binders, wagons, and now LAWN CHAIRS!? Kids I completely understand. But grown adults? Embarrassing and worse this year than I have ever seen it. #Indy500 || 🤷

Unfortunate. Saturday of qualifying weekend is one of my favorite days of the year. If the rain could be 3 hours earlier or 3 hours later we'd be fine.

Here’s where I’m at with weekend forecast..not as straight forward timing-wise as today’s rain..bottom-line could see rain at any point Sat, but I think most likely mid-AM to early afternoon. Sunday chance early storm, but think we’re good…tho muggy. Will update early Sat AM.

Maybe I'm wrong but it feels like there just hasn't been a ton of cars on track this year. Its a good thing a new car is coming because I feel like they could have cut a day of practice this year and been fine.
