@champwebdotnet Who were the drivers other than Helio that looked good/great in traffic?

FP3 Observations: - Helio clearly focusing his time on race set and you could tell it’s working well. Was one of the few drivers you could clearly see working his way through traffic - Palous runs at the end of the day appeared to show zero speed scrubbing off but the end speed wasn’t all that impressive - the translation of cooler track temps without full boost will be a significant difference but it’s clear the teams are emphasizing starting position as the ability to pass through the field may be limited with aero wash - first signals of tire deg on a few runs. Been a long time since we had legit deg where the undercut could come into play on race day

The pattern is pretty unsettled to start next week…rainy w/couple systems tracking thru during week then high pressure tries to set up for weekend (dry & warm)..but you guys know any minor change early has cascading effects this far out…so, will likely change several times

@champwebdotnet On Penske, Newgarden has actually not been happy with his car in traffic

IndyFP2 observations: - interesting nugget that Helio as a one off with Honda has to limit his on track mileage to save his engine as he only has that one. MSR otherwise looks strong - Penske as a team is running a smooth and progressing program. All three cars in the top 10 on the time charts. - the cool temps are unlikely to last for qualifying or race day. - Coyne continues to impress with RoGro 5th overall and turned 77 laps. Hauger has been consistent. Michael Cannon effect? - Harvey has the pole winning engineer from Prema so gotta believe he comes with some setup sheets
