@Hooniez4Han akb hasn't done this type of thing in years, that doesn't mean it's ok, it NEVER was. and no wota is defending it either. i just think it's a bit unfair to portray current akb like it was all those years ago, and it's fans like a bunch of pedophiles.

@NoraMeadow @cutemarisafan there's nothing wrong with buying them on steam! it's just that piracy is a huge part of touhou's fandom culture outside of japan since we haven't had a way to access the games legally (besides importing a physical copy from japan) until they were put on steam recently

@Eviled9 @cutemarisafan im pretty sure you can use steamless to remove the drm and things like vpatch will work, but at the same time, i feel like those fixes should be included in the games without the need for external patches if zun wants to sell them on steam for modern pcs

@cutemarisafan i like the accessibility but the problem is that they are kind of hard to modify with steam drm, resolution increasing patches do not work due to it and it kind of renders a lot of the earlier games unplayable. also the price point is not super great
