I hate the MK1 version of Mileena; she's just a cheap, bland copy of Kitana. The previous personalities were much better, and she didn't even need to be a villain. But the real Mileena disguised herself as Kitana to take the throne despite her illness.

The only plus for me with this game was Tanya.

but even worse than that is the erasure of Kuai, Hanzo, Sonya, Sektor, Cyrax... and the entire origin of other characters who were MUCH better in the old timeline

while in MK11 the returning characters after a long time actually had some purpose in the story and felt natural, MK1 simply introduced nostalgic characters hoping we'd sympathize with their erasure of originality when we don't even have the same old ones
