It's so unfair to say that Sindel was treated badly and it's Sonya's fault. Shao Kahn stated that each time Sindel returns she becomes weaker, so her defeat made sense. Besides, her fans said Sonya should be excluded from MK1 at least once, so we repeat the same.

It’s honestly wild to me how short sighted and misogynistic some fans STILL are when they call Sonya Blade a “bad mother” simply because she chose to do her job to protect her family. Her “job” was literally saving the world, defending her country, rescuing her partners, saving innocent people, and protecting her friends. Yet somehow that gets reduced to “she didn’t stay home enough.” That conversation is way deeper and way more real than some people want to admit. Sonya was never a bad mother just because she struggled with work and personal life balance. If anything, she reflects the reality so many women deal with every day, constantly being judged for not fitting society’s narrow expectations of what a woman or mother “should” be. And she said it herself: "Sorry that YOU couldn't be the center of attention, Johnny Cage". Meanwhile, male characters are praised for sacrifice and dedication to duty, but women are criticized for the exact same thing. That double standard has always been the point. Sonya Blade even sacrifices her own life to save not only her daughter, husband, and team, but the entire freaking world! And even THEN hateful jealous stans or sexist fools try to make a mockery of her sacrifice as if it wasn't one of the biggest highlights in the entire story, and as if that didn't speak volumes of wonder about her character and values as a whole. You people need some serious education and learn to respect women because WTF is even this BS. 🤜🏻💥⭕✨⭕✨⭕💥

I haven’t seen enough people talk about this but this NEEDS to be said. Raiden was a HUGE step up from the last movie and more closely resembled his true character. In the first movie he was an asshole and was shitting all over his champions “This is what I have to work with?” and never a single time showing care or empathy and never took time to act like a true mentor. He also doesn’t do his job as protector of Earth. While Raiden isn’t super involved in the movie there are differences that make a BIG difference. The first thing he says when he sees Revenant Kung Lao is “My son?” and sees both Liu Kang and Kung Lao as his sons. He actually teaches and encourages everyone and especially Johnny Cage about what it means to be chosen and at times shows genuine humor. These small differences actually make Raiden… well… Raiden. Christopher Lambert’s, MKX, and MK Legends version of Raiden understand this and now live action MK2 Raiden is 100% a step in the right direction. I want to see more.

@peacescycle Thank you so much!!😭 Dvorah is such a unique character, she's so cool and so creative, not to mention she expands Outworld races, but the fans hate propaganda just because she killed cool characters... she's still extremely awesome. And we probably won't see her again

@bluredfield no right because mk has some of the best character concepts ive ever seen... some fans just find everything boring tho. dvorah was a great newcomer to me and a type of character you rarely see anywhere else, and her relationship with mileena deserves to be explored further

I've always preferred her over Kitana; her crazy antics are what make her who she is. But in MK1 she is literally Kitana, and nobody can change my mind. Kitana is the just, peaceful, and loving one; all this while the MK1 Kitana herself is just a lapdog serving her worse version.

@KollecterK Havik is one of my favorite characters, like top 5... but he's not Havik in MK1, not even the movements or appearance, and the story? I remember looking away in anger when I saw his return, I didn't even like the Titan
