@nycgraceryan We out big for Claire & Co in good old NY-07. Hoping for a huge win for Brad! Lucky to get to know him a bit during my time in Council District 39! (I am trying to speak it into existence that the polling is gonna lead to a blow out in NY-10) 🫡🙌🏼 good luck in CBK!

@nycgraceryan But I am low key addicted to turn out data :( but yes yes you are right

I mean it’s really not - it’s just been a dividing point for challengers to have in their back pockets more or less. Obviously this year’s primaries are much different than the Mayoral race last year but Zohran very much so purposefully pivoted away from Israel/Palestine TPs in 2025 and mainly talked about affordability, housing, child care, etc. Past adamant pro-Israel stances have been a toxic association in pretty much any race involving incumbents across the country. It’s not particularly unique here. Age and demo gaps obviously split but nonetheless.
English

@thisguy467854 @JCColtin Zohran has been personally/politically/professionally/publicly very active to advocate for Brad - why do we have to expect anything specifically from his wife? It’s weird. Also the polling for Lander looks more like a blow out rather than the likely close races in 7&13.
English

@boroughbrain @JCColtin He is literally running against an incumbent for US Congress. If endorsements didn’t matter, Mamdani would’ve never done his.

@krazykanuk73 @LombardIsKing_ Actually George Steinbrenner’s ghost called me from beyond the grave to tell me you have to be Jazz’s personal lollipop boy - in lieu of a water boy- to atone your mutual sins and until then the Yankees are cursed against winning a championship by order of the Lord. Your call.
English

@LombardIsKing_ That is because you are black.
You despise rule and anything regarding being respectful. You do understand class or being humble. You park in handicap spaces, fight over fast food and are incapable of empathy. You are a hateful and violent race.
Enjoy sucking your lollipop

If I see people getting actually mad at him for this then you people needs serious help
Everything Yankees@eyyankees
Jazz Chisholm is eating a lollipop while playing second base. Yes, a lollipop.
English

@BookerGWash You are very clearly and obviously a troll lmao - what do you mean “make” you one? 😂😂
English

It was a purposely outlandish comparison as a joke because pointing out her not mentioning Brad specifically -for any local politico who would know that clearly the race in NY-10 is nothing like the ones in 7 or 13 or that Rama didn’t mention any of the other DSA slate for many AD/SDs races either for context - is silly
English

@boroughbrain @Bighugh53 It’s not really about being weird….its just that he’s kind of a jackass 🤙🏽
English

@FuryNotFurry @TalkinYanks You dreaming of Jazz giving you some good neck?
English

@boroughbrain @TalkinYanks You would if he fell on his face or took a ball to the face and got a lollipop sent down his throat

Have we ever stopped to think that some of these people do not give a flying fuck about being an example for you or anyone else’s kids ?
Dan Clark@DanClarkSports
Jazz Chisholm is an attention-seeking idiot. His stupidity never ceases to amaze me. Not only is this terribly dangerous for himself, he is setting an atrocious example for young kids watching.
English

@Oweempic @Bighugh53 Look man, as a lifelong Yankee diehard - I get and don’t mind the general hate that comes with it but people were fucking weirdos about Jazz when he was on the Marlins too lol
English

@boroughbrain @Bighugh53 To be honest, once a player becomes a yankee, he’s open game for every kind of criticism.

I've been debating this since last night. On the one hand, there are players who have an oral fixation. They chew tobacco, eat sunflower seeds, hold a toothpick in their mouth. But, those actions are habitual, almost second nature, and they take no focus away from the game.
Jazz, on the other hand, doesn't always eat lollipops. In just this game, he decided to have one. And, putting aside any interference it may cause with his play (for example, his ability to call for a pop up), his attention to eating it seemed to be a distraction itself.
The bottom line is this was a terrible optic from a player who has had concentration issues in the past, and it feeds into the notion that the Yankees are a very casual team without much discipline.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. is playing second base with a blow pop in his mouth
English

@DanClarkSports Yeah George Steinbrenner - who famously didn’t get banned from MLB while Stick Michael scouted the Core Four and built the 90s/00s Dynasty in his absence lmao
