@charlotteh71 It has to be our fault though doesn’t it, that we have been unable to communicate with people exactly who is responsible for this and why.

Woman just interviewed on a street in Peterborough tells why she voted conservative, and how pleased she is that they got in: "Well it's the education system really. Oh and the homeless. So many homeless people here, ive never seen it like this. " Are these people for real?

@Monkeystink @ernieT99 @BobbitTina There was no universal credit when I was a young child. My mum cycled in the dark to a factory night shift & dad did gallop polls on top of his full time job. Every meal was provided on v little money. Parenting and budgeting classes make more sense than benefits.

@ernieT99 @BobbitTina No it’s not the truth. I work in social housing where people are waiting up to 6 weeks for a Universal Credit payment. People are forced to choose between heating their house, getting food and feeding their kids and paying their rent. I see it first hand every working day.

#GE2019 . Some thoughts on #universalcredit it will now impact 8 million people . It is a catastrophic & cruel social policy - yet it took @UKLabour until 2017 manifesto & @ very last minute to come out in favour of scrapping it. Yet to see #MSM reffer to fact Surely had impact?

@chrishall_chris Well a lot of people are acclimatising to Universal Credit. Some new claims can take up to eight weeks, that’s the main reason for the sharp incline in need for food boxes, while they have no income

@tonypatt2000 @LenMcCluskey @HuffPostUK No, you see this is no longer something I can do anything about. I had a conversation today about how I will soon be losing the small amount of work I have. So as soon as that goes well here comes Universal Credit. I may or may not have ten weeks up to April. (1)

While conservative voters look forward to closure on Brexit, I will be thinking of the 4 million children in poverty and those forced to go to food banks as a result of universal credit. BYE

My Universal Credit account tells me that this month, I will be receiving £63 less than in October. Most of this is to pay off Tax Credits from two years ago. The rest is to repay part of the budgeting loan I took out two weeks ago to pay for clothes for my father's funeral.

When Universal Credit was proposed, we were told it would cost about £2.2billion to implement. This country was willing to *pay* £2.2billion to put families into crisis... To date, the project budget has increased twice and now stands at ❗️£15.8 billion❗️

Free broadband, election debate, manifesto launch. Labour has played all its cards. It is heading for a landslide defeat.

@benefitforums @CPAGUK Disappointing response. We’re not paid by political parties, trade unions, & being independent under constant pressure from your “comrades” . You were invited to workshop & didn’t attend. Suggest social media reflection might be required. Still waiting for answer re @CPAGUK cost
