@LVMPD we were travelling from Las vegas to Newark airport on Friday last and left a bag containing our passports in the back seat of the cab. We had paid cash and didn't know what cab company it was. The kindest cop I've ever met came to our rescue and I will never forget him.

Many of you will be aware of the shameful decision to run Kieran Fogarty’s sentence for killing Joe Drennan concurrent to the 8 yrs he got for another conviction, meaning he effectively isn’t serving time for a fatal hit and run. Please sign & share.😞

Placing young children in care creates a long-term financial burden that governments can no longer afford to ignore. Those in power are beginning to grasp the true cost of neglect—billions spent on foster care, children's homes, and social services. When care is outstanding, these children grow into productive contributors to the economy. However, persistent leadership failures and a lack of common sense have pushed the care system to the brink of collapse, leaving millions of adults reliant on overstretched public services. Without urgent reform, this crisis will only deepen, with devastating social and economic consequences. #FactsMatter

When my father passed away, I was placed in a children's home. At the time, my mother was unwell, and I frequently found myself in trouble with the law due to delinquent behavior.
Would my life have been different if I had been placed with a family member instead? Without a doubt. I firmly believe that kinship care should always be the first consideration, with financial support readily available to make it a viable option. Unfortunately, that choice was never available to me—and as a result, it led to years of hardship and cost local governments millions.
We live and learn, yet those in power fail to grasp the true cost of their decisions. #Kinshipcare

@TescoIrl @kencocoffee why is the eco friendly paper one more money for less coffee? It's cheaper to buy the glass jar and you get 50g more coffee too! Something is very wrong here
