@choiminhodiet @caIoriephobe well yes women having the choice to do what they want is literally feminism i fear... not literally EVERYTHING but thats pretty much the basis of it. Is it that hard to accept women like to use their looks as self-expression which makes them happy?

every time you go to shave any of your body hair please ask yourself why youre doing it and if misogyny is that important to you...

@spongebobtwt @choiminhodiet I’m saying that that ‘choice’ is heavily biased and informed by the standards that are put in place by men, and women would likely not feel the need to get rid of something that occurs naturally on our bodies if not for men.

For the benefit of men! And then we defend it as a true desire of ours, when it wouldn’t even exist without men creating it

Just let women shave for THEMSELVES!! it's like saying having long hair or wearing blush is misogynistic. Some girls just like it

@spongebobtwt @choiminhodiet It’s a question of why women view shaving as doing something ‘for them’, when we’ve been conditioned to think of shaving as self-care when it really just appeases men, even if you’re not trying to do that!

@spongebobtwt @choiminhodiet Even if one may think they’re not doing it for such reasons, all women have been raised in a misogynistic society and it is deeply ingrained in us. You reinforce patriarchal standards when you cave into them by shaving, regardless of intention, the impact is the same
