@matthewsyed Gosh, I normally respect your perspective - is this satire?

@GBPolitcs It will be very interesting to see how my home town MP votes today. @EmmaLewell, queen of the abstention is a total coward and deserves to be booted out of office. Today will prove what she is really all about. For the people, or her snout in the corrupt starmer trough!

@DeanEggitt I don’t mind the email route but I then seem to get triaged by the GP receptionist - I find this really unprofessional
English

Situations like this are common.
Many do not need a GP appointment - which are hard to get.
Send your practice a message via email / online system / letter.
Me, Mike. 🌍@mikegallacher1
After a failed attempt to get an appointment with my GP today, I have to try again in the morning. Just need painkillers to help me live with this fractured femur. Present situation is everything hurts! Paracetamol and Naproxen will give a little relief. I'm fed up of this.

@happy_at_home_ I felt the same - I’m now an anxious overthinker and had 2 frozen shoulders - it’s a bloody bitch

@truemagic68 The youth of today reflect a significantly higher blend of culture/heritage than when I was young, Britain today is what they know and accept - us old people anchor after the past - it saddens me that they will never understand or see what it was like prior to mass immigration

@JohnPerry @GBPolitcs They do as they are told or the gravy train will cease
English

@GBPolitcs So, do Labour MPs vote with honesty and integrity and in what they truly believe in, OR, do they do as they are told.

A very inebriated man just sat down next to me at the train station and said: “Alright, gorgeous.”
I didn’t like the look of him, so I got up and moved.
“Couldn’t get away quick enough, could you love?” he shouted after me, laughing.
Then he stood up. For a moment I thought he was going to follow me.
He didn’t - but as he staggered off in the other direction, he hollered across the station: “She needs to be f**ked up the arse, that one.”
This is the reality women are navigating - every day, often without saying a word about it.
And yet we’re told that if a man puts on a dress and calls himself Susan, any discomfort we feel about sharing intimate spaces makes us the problem.

@BenInRushcliffe Would you tell him ? - you’d instantly be sacked - he blames everyone except his perfect self

@ClareTa97789912 Currently polling at 18% with the voting public … you were saying ? 😂

The Starmer Files🇬🇧🔥: Here is a young starry~eyed Keir Starmer back in the heady days of his student career when he wrote for the Marxist rag at Leeds University.
Sitting next to his occultist skull, he almost looks like one of the three Ukrainian rent boys giving evidence at The Old Bailey, for an 'arsoning' office.
We're not sure where this young Keir got hold of the skull ladies and gentlemen, but we're in no doubt that the rest of the skeletons in his closest are about to fall out.

English

@Thomas46Tank @Peston It’s not been stopped - you can follow it online -the jury was selected today and they all pleaded not guilty
English

@Peston Why has he stopped the reporting of the rent boys trial at the Old Bailey? What on earth could he be worried about? Oh, by the way, Robert, are you still a Labour activist?
English

This by Starmer to the parliamentary Labour Party tonight is quite striking. When in trouble, turn left:
*The Prime Minister described the allegations put forward by the Conservatives as “totally baseless” and “absolutely ridiculous”.
He said “It’s important to see the bigger picture here. They want to stop this Labour Government. And we know why.
“Because we are the first government for generations to take key parts of the public realm back into public ownership. They don’t like that, but we’re doing it.
“The first government for generations to give rights and power to workers, to renters, to the less fortunate.
“The first government for generations prepared to stand against wealth interests, to raise money and put that into public services and fighting child poverty. They don’t like it, they said they’d reverse it.
“We have a mandate to do all of those things. And they are not going to stop us.”
He concluded: “When we stick together and fight together we are so much stronger.”

@Peston And mid level workers pay for all and sundry - not a single policy has a positive effect on my family or finances
