Per the LAT, the victim was unarmed. Someone passing by captured a glimpse of it via dashcam. The parties can be seen at the very far right. It's dark, but it looks like there's a tussle. I slowed the video down to half time and tried to brighten it up. neighbors.ring.com/n/zqgedKGTdZ

LAT has an update. It seems the officer involved, Victor Corral, should have had his conceal carry privileges withdrawn while he was on leave, but that didn't happen. 👀 latimes.com/california/sto…

This officer, VICTOR CORRAL, was previously present on a boat on which LAPD officer JASON PEDRO sexually assaulted a minor and possibly got her pregnant. LADA declined prosecution.
