Nurse Alex Pretti, who was killed days ago by an ICE agent at a rally in Minnesota, helped disabled veterans get back on their feet. And there is nothing more that needs to be added about the spirit of this man.

He didn't die that night, death was 30 years away. He never progressed past the age of two, he never knew me again. Still I grieve.

If my wife died I’d be so depressed that I wouldn’t be able to speak for at least a month. Meanwhile Charlie’s wife goes on tour. I don’t get it. Something is off. I can’t be the only person who thinks this way.

As I stood by, knelt by, and said goodbye to my dead husband(killed by a drunk driver at the age of 24), the last thing on my mind was videoing that private moment. I was grieving for him, for my 3 yo son and unborn child. My love and grief were not for show.

@fermiparasocks @yashar Certainly not me. I lost my husband at the age of 23. I was a young mother with a three year old and pregnant with my second child. My private moments of grief were between him and I, not the world. To this day, it is still private, protected and held within my heart.
