every plane needs a pilot. same with sales and UGC, sure, you can use AI to outbound and prospect, but if you're spending all your time going back and forth with the response the AI gives you, or blindly trusting that it's going to be a good response or a good cold email, you're in for a big surprise.

5 signs you're about to get ghosted: 1. You sent a number without asking any questions first 2. Your pitch said "I can create..." instead of "here's what I made" 3. I'm just a new yorker with ADHD thats trying to escape her 9-5 to work with creators forever! 😉 Omg did i tell you i pitched doing UGC TO MY 9-5?!! THEY SAID YES! I'm doing 2 campaigns for them, and since i work in sales, i think it will be super great!!! bc once a prospect sees my UGC ad, and then they end up on the phone with me for the SaaS business conversation, hopefully they'll feel more safe :)

if you're asking for AI to personalize your emails, that's totally fine, we should be using AI to making things faster, and easier and more efficient. The difference is what you feed the AI. What context it's drawing from. Where is it generating ideas from? My Claude is integrated with my notion UGC Closer Kit, which has 10+ years of enterprise sales knowledge in there that guides me in each pitch and negotiaion, so i don't need to be going back and forth with AI just to not sound like everyone else.

I got a DM last week that I keep thinking about. A brand I'd pitched ghosted me after I sent rates. Three days later I sent a simple follow up: "Hey, just wanted to make sure this didn't get buried. Still happy to chat if you're interested. No worries if timing's off!" They replied: "Sorry for the delay, yes, let's do this. Which of your options is still available?" 40% of my closed deals came from follow-ups like this. That deal is in the pipeline right now. The brands who go quiet aren't saying no. They're just busy. Follow up. Always.
