These were usually erected to celebrate victories that uplifted the Roman Empire, and the implication here is very clear — Trump sees himself as an emperor and wants to celebrate himself like one. We are approaching real Mad King hours with this senile old man. First he’s building a ballroom, then holding extravagant parties with dancing girls at his resort. Now he wants a Roman arch. What’s next? A colosseum in D.C. to host WWE matches in?
