BREAKING: Democrat James Talarico pounces on his MAGA opponent Ken Paxton just moments after he won the Republican primary — airing his dirty criminal laundry to the entire world. This Senate seat is really in play now... "Something just happened in Texas. The most corrupt politician in America just became the Republican nominee for the United States Senate," Talarico said in a video posted to X. "Three years ago, Ken Paxton was impeached by his own party for using his public office to enrich himself and his donors at the expense of the people." Paxton beat out Republican incumbent Senator John Cornyn in the Texas primary, largely because the former was endorsed by Trump. Paxton represents the very worst that this country has to offer. He was impeached by his own party for taking bribes as state attorney general and his wife divorced him for adultery. Paxton said that the horrific Uvalde school shooting — during which 21 people died and 18 others were injured — was just "part of God's plan." Worse still, Paxton's office offered a sweetheart plea deal to a man who repeatedly sexually abused a young boy. That deal would have let the child molester plead guilty to two misdemeanors and serve just a single day in jail. Paxton is a pedophile protector, which explains in part why Trump likes him so much. "For 50 years, mega donors and their puppet politicians like Ken Paxton have stolen from us with their bribes, their bailouts, and their billionaire tax breaks. Ken Paxton has gotten away with it," Talarico continued in his video. "They've all gotten away with it. " "But that ends this year, in this state, in this race. If we the people can come together to defeat the most corrupt politician in America, we can defeat this entire corrupt system. We can start unrigging this economy," he said. "We can start raising our pay, cutting our taxes, lowering our costs. We can finally get ahead. It's time to come together." "The people versus Ken Paxton," Talarico concluded. In a separate tweet Talarico, who is a state representative, welcomed Cornyn's supporters to join his coalition. "I want to thank Senator John Cornyn for his years representing our state," he wrote "We don’t agree on everything, but we both still believe in public service. BREAKING: UNPRECEDENTED! Trump’s new federal NDA policy is setting off alarms across Washington. Donald Trump has used nondisclosure agreements his entire adult life to silence people who know things he doesn't want the public to know. His ex-wives. Contestants on The Apprentice. Campaign staffers. Porn stars. Now he wants to use them on the entire federal workforce. The Trump administration is planning to require all federal employees to sign NDAs barring them from sharing "non-public, confidential, or proprietary information" or any "sensitive, pre-decisional or deliberative material." The draft notice goes beyond existing classified and unclassified designations — creating a new, broader category of things federal workers simply cannot talk about. The administration's justification? They claim leaked information about the raid that captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro put American troops at risk by tipping off the New York Times, which they say held the story at their request. There's just one problem. The New York Times says that's completely false. Executive editor Joe Kahn stated directly: "The Times did not have verified details about the pending operation to capture Maduro or a story prepared, nor did we withhold publication at the request of the Trump administration." The entire premise for this policy is a lie. And they're using that lie to silence 2 million federal workers. OPM Director Scott Kupor compared it to standard private sector practice. But the federal government isn't a private company — and federal employees aren't Trump's personal staff. Federal law specifically protects whistleblowers because the public has a right to know when their government breaks the law. Pete Hegseth already forced Pentagon officials to sign NDAs before reading classified briefings. Now that model is going federal government-wide. This comes after the administration fired approximately 300,000 federal workers — tens of thousands of whom were later rehired with back pay after courts ruled the firings were unlawful. It comes after federal employees have been polygraphed, retaliated against for talking to Congress, and fired for telling the truth in court. The pattern is unmistakable. Trump is methodically converting the federal government — your government, paid for by your taxes — into a personal loyalty operation where employees serve one man and stay quiet about what they see. "They thought he was gonna end the forever wars." "They thought he was gonna release the Epstein files and drain the swamp. But just one year later, they've seen how he's done the exact opposite," he went on. "Through his crazy tariffs, he's made everything more expensive. He has started even more conflicts around the world, including this new forever war in Iran. He has done everything he could to keep the Epstein files from seeing the light of day. And the swamp in Washington is bigger than it's ever been." "So there's a lot of disillusionment," said Talarico. "And what I'm trying to do is speak directly to those Texans who feel disillusioned, who feel like this system doesn't work for them, that it only works for billionaires and puppet politicians like Paxton and Cornyn. A protest broke out at Delaney Hall in Newark, New Jersey, and Sen. Andy Kim was trying to de-escalate the situation – and was rewarded for it by getting pepper-sprayed. "My eyes are burning, my throat's burning, my hand hurts a lot. It's not about me. But what happened was I came out from Delaney Hall and immediately saw that there was a tense situation outside. ICE had brought out an armored vehicle and then a line of armed officers that were armed up in vests and armed,” said Kim to an NJ.com reporter. “I ran up and put myself between the ICE officers and the crowd, and that's when they started to shoot at us with the pepper balls as well as using the pepper spray and were tackling people. And I was trying to do my best to just try to stop them from taking these tactics and was hoping that putting myself there in the middle would try to lessen the use of force, the use of these tactics that I thought were going to put people in even greater harm." DHS issued a statement saying nobody was hit with any projectiles – who are you gonna believe, the Trump administration or your lying, burning eyes? On Friday, some 300 detainees launched a hunger strike inside Delaney Hall, a 1,000-bed facility operated by the GEO Group, one of ICE’s biggest contractors for building and managing detention centers, in protest of rotten, worm-filled food and lack of access to basic healthcare services, including denying OBGYN care for pregnant women. Now the president’s goons are even assaulting sitting US Senators. ICE is completely out of control, as is every single member of the Trump administration. They all need to be removed from office and held accountable for the crimes and the brutality committed at their direction.

Donald Trump posted on Truth Social Monday afternoon that his six-month physical at Walter Reed checked out "PERFECTLY," complete with capital letters and an exclamation point. A leading Washington DC cardiologist immediately went on CNN and raised some serious questions that the White House has yet to answer credibly. Dr. Jonathan Reiner, director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at George Washington University Hospital and a professor of medicine, wasn't speculating. He was describing what millions of Americans have seen with their own eyes. Three things, he said, demand a credible explanation. First, the bruising. The White House attributed visible bruising to vigorous handshaking. "That is not credible," Reiner said flatly. Second, the ankle edema. Trump's legs show severe swelling. The White House has called it "chronic venous insufficiency" — but just one year ago, his physical showed no edema whatsoever. "That would make it acute venous insufficiency," Reiner explained, "which is an entirely different thing." The distinction matters medically, and the explanation doesn't hold up. Third — and most alarming — the daytime somnolence. Trump falls asleep. Repeatedly. In the Oval Office, with people talking to him. In the Cabinet Room. And yesterday, there was visible concern that he may have fallen asleep at Arlington National Cemetery during Memorial Day services, while honoring America's fallen. Reiner wasn't dismissive about what this means. Chronic sleep deprivation and severe daytime sleepiness in older patients, he explained, is associated with increased risk of dementia, cognitive decline, depression, anxiety, heart attack, and congestive heart failure. "It's equivalent to increasing your age by about three and a half years," he said. The president of the United States — the man with his finger on the nuclear button, currently overseeing an active, albeit undeclared and constitutionally illegal, war with Iran — appears to be struggling to stay awake during the day. And the official explanations for his visible symptoms don't hold up to basic medical scrutiny. Trump posted "PERFECT" in all caps. But the bruising is visible. The ankle swelling is visible. They didn't mince words about that draft-dodging coward... "We know how authoritarian dictatorships work. There's no rule of law, there's no consent of the governed, and there's monuments for the leaders there," said veteran and retired diplomat Jon Gundersen. "I think what we're doing is being loyal to the country. And loyalty can be measured in different ways," Gundersen added. He's suing the Trump administration along with veterans Shaun Byrnes and Michael Lemmon. Their lawsuit is joined by the ethics watchdog group Public Citizen. The arch, which Trump has admitted is being built to honor himself, is slated to go up between the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery, our country's most hallowed resting place. At over twice the size of the Lincoln Memorial, the 250-foot-tall eye sore would cut off a clear view between the memorial and cemetery — inserting Trump's ego smack dab in the middle of our national soul. "It's more about the duty I feel towards my colleagues and friends who did not come home to stand up against this project, regardless of who's in charge," said Byrnes. "I think it's just disrespectful to those that I served with who didn't come back, and then, of course, to all those who are lying in Arlington National Cemetery." He explained that he has always hoped to be buried at Arlington when he dies but if Trump's arch goes up he'll be forced to "reconsider" his options. The lawsuit argues that not only is Trump's vanity project arch illegal because he failed to obtain congressional approval, but it's also a disastrous design decision because it disrupts the intended sightline between the cemetery, which lies on land seized from Robert E. Lee, and the Lincoln Memorial, which was erected in the wake of the Civil War. Tellingly, the administration has yet to unveil a price tag for the arch. While Trump previously claimed that it would be fund by private donations (meaning corrupt pay-to-play bribes) he also said the same thing about his ballroom and is now seeking $1 billion to build that. “Even if you took private donations, is that how we want to build monuments?” said Gundersen. “To the oligarchs who give money for favors?" More to the point, what "triumph" is Trump celebrating? His Iran War is a world-historic debacle that will almost certainly end with Iran in direct control of the Strait Hormuz, cementing themselves as a preeminent world power. On the domestic front, it has been one defeat after another for the United States. Trump gutted Medicaid, destroyed our education and scientific research systems, and devastated our economy with harebrained tariffs and costly military adventurism overseas. The bill would impose a 5 percent annual wealth tax on the roughly 940 Americans with a net worth of $1 billion or more. Economists say this would raise trillions over a decade to fund direct payments to working families, expanded healthcare, affordable housing, and other priorities, while leaving even the richest Americans with hundreds of billions of dollars in wealth. Bernie’s point is crystal clear: the ultra-wealthy have more money than any human being could possibly need in multiple lifetimes, yet they still cry victim the second anyone suggests they pay their fair share. The ultra-rich can absolutely afford to pay more, and pretending otherwise is getting harder and harder to take seriously.
