It’s not often I’m surprised and speechless these days but I was today. My amazing team and family surprised me with an incredible birthday/one-year MP anniversary gift: a personalised Stanley Chow commission! I’ve admired @stan_chow ’s work for a long while and I have a number of his pieces displayed in my office in Blackpool and Parliament. I’m completely made up and can’t wait to display it alongside the other pieces I have 😊

@kimleadbeater The debate around coercion although understandable is redundant. Coercion in palliative and actively dying patients happens now everyday. We just don’t talk about it enough due to the taboo of death. At least this bill will bring it to the forefront and ensure some protections.
