Respectfully disagree. It is not usable (for a normie, which is what counts if we want more users). My experience from yesterday when I wanted to buy 1 Bad Kid: * It takes 15 minutes to bridge 1 WETH from L1 to Osmosis to buy STARS. Goes via Axelar (seamless) but the 15min lag is because I have to wait for finality on Osmosis side. Basically going cross-chain is like traveling to another planet. You only do it when you really have to. * Now second attempt. I have some LUNA. I'm trying to sell it for STARS. What a fckn pain! Have to go through Binance because slippage on Osmosis is 30% (I lose 30% of USD value when swapping LUNA to STARS or ATOM for example) This is a good example why I don't believe in appchain thesis. It is a mess. Fragments liquidity and makes UI unusable. I have IT background and I struggle with this. My normies friends would never manage...

The v12 upgrade is successfully completed ⚛️ The Liquid Staking Module is live on the Cosmos Hub! With LSM the Hub unlocks new dynamics within the ATOM Economic Zone. Users can now directly liquid-stake their already staked #ATOM without waiting for the unbonding period.

Cancel Unstaking is now supported on Cosmos Hub! If you have assets on the supported networks that are under the unstaking period you will see a gear icon in the corresponding box in your Staking tab. (wallet.keplr.app/?tab=staking)

Cosmos governance can be so demoralizing sometimes. It's really frustrating to see people and teams you respect abandon the principles of decentralization and the best interests of the chains they claim to be supporting in favor of financial self-interest.

📢Namada is set to roll out its v0.22.0 testnet on 12th September, 2023, at 17:00 UTC. This update addresses the storage creep issues and introduces a refined gas and fee system, ensuring transactions lacking sufficient gas are promptly rejected. Additionally, to mirror the forthcoming mainnet environment, validators must now ensure they always maintain enough funds in the faucet to cover fees. 🟡 Genesis participants are encouraged to submit PRs ahead of the testnet release. 🟡 The chain-id will be disclosed closer to the new testnet's launch. 🟡 New validators should ensure their .toml is submitted for review by 11th September 2023. @JTremback I'm confused how there is even contention on this tbh, validators get staking rewards to do their job of not being double signed. Very supportive of automating double sign slashes. Due to KMS' malicious consumer chain software couldn't force double signs even if they tried.
