@jpottingaround I should be more clear. Market and value are two different things. I see Walker as an extremely valuable player, I just don’t believe that he has a market as in multiple teams making competing bids for him. He absolutely deserves 5@140+ IMO.

Was traded on an expiring contract for almost nothing. There are reasons... but the point stands. His market was almost nothing... got a max 3+1. Don't have to have a destination with cap space to leverage yourself into a deal you like. I would just save victory laps for a few weeks. Walker losing this negotiation wouldn't necessarily mean the Jazz win.

I don’t know if anyone has figured this out yet, but there’s no market for Kessler and there never was. The Jazz made a fair offer and his camp botched it by trying to create something that didn’t exist.

It’s almost as if Utah is simply waiting for Washington to make their decision for them, like has been talked about for the last 45 days. Washington picks player A and Utah takes player B. Shocking reporting here.

Despite mocks (mine included) saying rival teams expect Utah to take Peterson #2, everyone is just guessing. Haven't heard any direct source/evidence suggesting he's their guy assuming AJ goes 1. I've always felt Cam at 2 is very possible even if it's more gut than reporting.
