Ich habe letzten Sonntag die erste Version meines Wallbox Überschussladens soweit fertig programmiert, dass sie funktionieren sollte. Echtzeitdaten hole ich vom Fronius Welchselrichter, vom SmartMeter, vom BYD Hausspeicher, von der KEBA Wallbox und vom Tesla Fahrzeug. Ich bin schon gespannt, wie dieser Graph über den Tag hinweg aussehen wird.👇1/x

@adamlogic CD doesn't mean no staging. We do have staging, not so much for testing deployments but for demonstration purposes. All feature flagged, but no issue with analytics pollution due to dummy data.

We need to prioritize LFP batteries: Both my EVs have ~90K miles on them. Here’s their range when charged to 100% 2022 LFP Model 3: 253 2021 “Long Range” Model Y: 271 Range gap closes the older they get. When new, range gap was 58 miles, now 18. My LFP charges WAY faster too!

I "like" that: the guy drove for 3½ hours in fully automatic mode and complains about a missing signal, feeling too close to another car and several incorrect limits (all the other cars have the same problems).... I don't think he understands that NO OTHER car can drive on its own for that long! A human driver would have made many more mistakes in the same amount of time.

@frankdilo @manuel_frigerio The question is: Do you want people who are good at agentic coding (which, quite frankly, is relatively easy to learn since noone has multiple years of experience) or do you look for people who really understand *why* they are building certain things? The latter is important!

Gestern habe ich leider die erste wirklich negative Erfahrung mit dem Tesla Model 3 gemacht. In Berlin sind aktuell ca. -9 Grad in der Nacht und am Morgen. Am kommenden Wochenende sollen es sogar bis zu - 12 Grad werden. Jeden Morgen nutze ich über die Tesla App die Funktion "Fahrzeug enteisen". Wenn ich aus der Wohnung komme um zur Arbeit zu fahren sind die Scheiben enteist und ich kann direkt losfahren, ohne zu Kratzen. Das Problem: Dadurch, dass es aktuell so kalt ist, öffnete sich die Ladeklappe nicht mehr. Sie war eingerfroren. Ich stand mit wenigen Prozent Batterie am Supercharger und konnte nichts machen. Egal wie lange ich das Auto im "Fahrzeug enteisen" Modus hatte, es tat sich nichts. Am Ende habe ich dann mit einer alten Karte das Eis in den Rillen entfernt und Stück für Stück, mit viel Vorsicht, die Ladeklappe befreit. Dann konnte ich über den Bildschirm im Auto auf "Ladeklappe öffnen" tippen und endlich tat sich was. Letztlich stand ich dort 30 Minuten und diese wertvolle Zeit habe ich verloren. Habe mich sehr geärgert, da ich vor der Arbeit einfach nur 10-15 Minuten laden wollte und somit viel zu spät ins Büro kam. Gestern Abend habe ich dann bei unserer Ladestation in der Siedlung vollgeladen, da ich bei den kommenden - 12 Grad davon ausgehen muss, dass wieder alles einfriert.

The redesigned Tesla Semi now uses the updated MCS (Megawatt Charging System) charge port. This 1.2 MW (1,200 kW) port is used across North America, and also Europe for class 6-8 electric commercial vehicles. MCS is essentially the heavy-duty truck equivalent of NACS.
