Shame on the @nytimes for putting The Daily behind a paywall. Now, more than ever, we need access to quality news. If you need money, we don’t mind listening to actual ads like every other podcast. I will not be paying and will be looking elsewhere for my daily show.

The @nytimes is putting "The Daily" podcast behind a paywall starting next week. I understand there's outrage over this since this excellent podcast has been free since its inception in 2016. But: Quality journalism usually costs money.
