QTD numbers are ALWAYS the day befores updated results for previous year results. The current year results usually come out during midday. So as stock retail said, apples to apples comparison So, 2025 and any year before is always the day befores closing result. 2026 is the same, but you have to let the data import throughout the day. So for today, april 15th...all 2025 and before results are now April 14th QTD results

Your take on 2015 is incorrect. Heres how you verify that Heres a shot of the QTD numbers Yesterday (4/13/26). 2015 QTD showed 466,271,244. Then you add the 4/13/15 daily 7,554,807. You get 473,826,051 its just under the reported 474,452,746 since daily only takes top 10 grossing films

@StockRetail Refresh that data because it just went up. Also keep in mind that the 2015 number is including the day of April 14 while the quarter to date Q2 2026 does not include April 14 numbers yet. So we are even higher despite missing a day

Box Office Mojo has updated and we are, indeed, still at an all time record, now for the first 12 days of q2. Currently at $14M ahead of 2015. I don't think we'll keep that pace all quarter but it's further demonstration of how big a leap we have made from where we were. And means AMC has been bringing in a lot of money the past few weeks $amc
