Prior to the earnings call I was aware the negative ninny's (short for nincompoops) were spreading negativity (it's who they are - it's your job to see it) I knew exactly why, and thus I focused you on CASH. Understand this...absorb this...it will make you FUD proof... Eeyore, the toxic one, the human liar, and the unhinged one - they'll focus you on net income which includes NON CASH EXPENSES. These are accounting entries related to the payoff of debt mostly. And I'll explain in a video soon. Your key takeaways should be this: 1- We delivered all time record cash flow... FCF $190.1M, Cash from Ops $235M. 2- Seems weird then, that some try to focus you on non cash events right? 3- A real, educated, financial mind understands, lowering that net income on non cash expenses kept AMC from a tax hit while still increasing cash on hand through REAL profit. 30/ Adam closing: 1- Holy moly what a quarter we just completed! 2- If you weren't one of the 4.3m people in our theaters this weekend who reveled at The Odyssey... 29/ Adam taking a retail question: Why selling equity during q2? (my note: it's a fair question, but really really focus on how we are now triggering lower interest rates. I cannot highlight enough how big that is. See the video link posted in number 19 in this thread. Adam continuing... managing cash (cash is king). We manage cash reserves so we have the time to recover. "We're not quite at the promised land yet". We have a little way to go for full year positive fcf (my note: I believe we'll hit it this year. 16/ Sean: Comparing to 2019. This quarter vs 2019 same quarter was 7.5% DOWN, yet AMC generated 36% MORE revenue and EBITDA. (my note: Now this is one of my all time credibility moments...Go back and find videos from me dating clear back to 2022. THIS was the thesis. I called it 4 YEARS ago on YT and 5 years ago on X) AMC will deliver better results even on a smaller box office. Now what happens as the industry continues recover and AMC continues to pay down debt and add PLF screens? 😏 $amc
