@karunchandhok One could argue that if Lewis would have given less room on entry Max would not have had “the little space” you pundits suggested Lewis gave Max - I would guarantee that Max would still have gone into the corner not fallen in behind get a great tow and pass on Hamilton

My first impression : another racing incident which both could have avoided.
On the opening lap at the 2nd chicane, Lewis was not given enough room. When they collided, Max wasn’t given the room he needed to avoid the kerb, but I suspect he was also going quicker than normal.

@tiff_tv The whole premise of racing to win is based on a tenuous supposition that out of a group of talented yet determined racers - one will one against another Max knew Lewis was there yet there was an assumption that he would back out before he turned in - simple fact is he didn’t

FIA have always made it very clear that the consequence of a collision should never be taken into consideration. You get the same penalty for contact whether it merely puts someone on the grass or in the wall.

@tiff_tv Sorry Tiff, Lewis got off with a 10 second penalty, Red Bull got shafted with a 1.5 million bill and a possibility of grid penalties for a new engine later on this season. If I was Red Bull I'd take it as far as possible too.

Caught up with Derek Warwick at the airport on the way home today. I'm still in agreement with his and the stewards' decisions yesterday. He told me how much they had to wrestle with Lando's initial penalty but that ultimately, it was a pretty clear breach of the regulations.

@MrDavidHobbs Ridiculous - Lando didn’t deserve to 5 sec penalty to begin with there is no way Sergio was ever going to get around the outside and should have backed out and got on the back for a slipstream

@SkySportsF1 @karunchandhok There was too many penalties issued at AGP and some to the wrong people like in Kimi’s defence - they were both going for the same piece of track Kimi moving right to get into Vettels slip stream and Vettel moving left unaware KR was still there

@TheBishF1 I would to say, the personality & psychology that we used to see at RB has matured and evolved still a determined racer honing in on his successes yet, we’ve seen humility and a realisation that the world doesn’t revolve around F1 - F1 is only part of our world & can do better
