This post has stirred up a lot of conversation in the last 24hrs, but all I have to ask is why does she keep downshifting and upshifting at highway speeds?

This girl is cruising down the highway in her stick shift, windows down, wind in her hair, belting out songs while she shifts gears without missing a beat. She looks genuinely happy and in control. Most people these days never learn how to drive manual. It takes real timing and coordination to get the clutch and gas right, especially when you’re just trying to have fun and sing along. Seeing her do it so naturally makes you realize how much of that skill is disappearing. Do you think driving stick is becoming a lost art, or do you still think it’s worth teaching people even if almost every new car is automatic?

Hit up Esslingen and/or Strasbourg by train if you have the time. Esslingen is like 15 minutes. Make sure you hit up the Porsche Boutique in town. Last time I was there they had a super rare 959S in there. It rotates out so no promises. Really enjoyed dinner at a restaurant there called Zum Becher for good German food. Need reservations though.

@SpeedSportLife I really enjoyed a book called ‘America Unchained’ by British comedian Dave Gorman who attempts to drive coast to coast in a Ford Torino, only using independent gas stations, hotels and restaurants. Some sad tales of family businesses struggling but also a lot of joy.

Welp, my Xbox's graphics card just died. Considering I live off $300 a week, it's gonna take forever to save up for a new one, whether that means graphics card or new Xbox.
There goes my last escape from reality. Yay me.
