No cause you’d be right. The symbolism of her finally “standing” and defeating the villain was perfect. It honed in the message of her being independent and earning her freedom.

Y’all hate the 2019 Child’s Play way too much. It flips Chucky into a straight nature vs. nurture story, drags corporate greed, and is actually funny — plus that driverless car scene is nasty. Not a classic, but calling it trash is just lazy.

I genuinely think this is one of the rare cases I might enjoy the live action sequence better than the animated. I loved seeing all those different species come into play, & using their natural beauty to make the scene so fun. The way they dance too was such a treat to witness 😙
