@adamwathan I've had some success using Flask and Jinja2 templating as static resources can be generated from the routes with the Frozen-Flask extension

Was hoping to leverage *some* existing tooling for this but starting to think I might have to do it all from scratch, at which point it might not be worth it. But I can't think of any other sensible workflow, I really want all variations of a single example to be co-located.

Zooming out a bit, the hard problem I'm trying to solve right now is I want to create a dev environment for authoring Tailwind UI examples where I can write the Vue, React, and plain HTML examples all in the same file.

@Shpigford There is the fun github.com/phoboslab/jsmp… which also takes a websocket and can surely quickly show a stream on a webpage. The normal way is the rtmp / vod nginx modules and stream via HLS/Dash (shakaplayer). Then there's also github.com/gen2brain/cam2…

What software would be used to turn a video feed in to a "live webcam"? Not talking interactive live streaming (Twitch, Periscope), but like embedding a live video feed on a website? The kind of thing you see on zoo websites, traffic cams, etc.
