@kadavy Deeply understand WHO should read your book and WHY. Until that is crystal clear, nothing else matters.

Just so you know, there's no medically measurable designation for "explosive" diarrhea. There are no studies that discern what diarrhea is explosive or not. There are no scales for measuring diarrhea velocity or dispersion. Just another made-up term for getting clicks.

I can't get this movie out of my head. It's such a neat little microcosm of capitalism. In the middle of nowhere, the first cow comes to town – fascinating to watch the economic implications of that play out.

Something I told 14 yo: People are going to stop reading books. I wish this wasn't so, but I fear it is. The silver lining in this cloud is that if you're one of the few people who still read, you'll have a huge advantage over everyone else.

Putting together the acknowledgements for my book and it's so cool to see that one of the Preview Edition customers is also the very first person to ever buy a course from me, 15 years ago.

We're in a period of digital barbarism. We haven't developed the conceptual and cultural technology to govern our desire for information to the extent we have for violence, sex, and food.

If anything AI has made writing a book harder because that perfect image in your mind is put within reach and you have to work even harder to try to achieve it.
