Always the same nonsense when people talk about the Falklands.
1. No it is not important, just 3500 people on a hellhole island that costs us £300m a year.
2. No we don't have any claim to it, literally sailed 13,000km to jump on an uninhabitable island to claim it is ours.

@its_hipolita The basis for the Argentinian claim is literally a colonial division of the new world between Portugal and Spain by the Pope in the 15th century (Treaty of Tordesillas). You can't get more colonial than that, especially as there has been a democratic vote on by island (99.8%).
