🚨 #BREAKINGNEWS Its appears Speaker Mike Johnson caught on hot mic that The Save Act would result in 12% to 18% voter turnout. Saying that would be huge for the Republican Party. The Save Act is a voter suppression bill. Not elections security.🚨

Selling a Terrence Dixon album to someone who lives in Belleville, Michigan just feels so righteous.

Berry Gordy is 96. Somebody needs to ask him what he thinks about Flying Lizards' cover of "Money (That's What I Want)," posthaste. I can't be the only one dying to know. Tried to reach him via IG, but his account doesn't accept messages from everyone.

A friend texted “Sounds Gouda” instead of you know what, and now, no matter what great feats he accomplishes, I will forever associate him with that mistake. It also speaks to the worthlessness of autocorrect.

🚨BREAKING: Armed suspected ICE agents are now grabbing young women outside college fraternities… Yesterday, a young woman was surrounded by armed men and taken, outside a fraternity house, at the University of Washington… And we need to stop pretending this is normal. Armed men grabbing a woman in public, and refusing to identify themselves, is exactly what we teach women to fear… and now the government is normalizing that, and calling it “law enforcement.” And this doesn’t just affect one person… it lowers the safety of every woman, on every campus. Because now, there’s no clear line between law enforcement and a predator. If unidentified men can take a woman from a dorm, a campus, a fraternity… then any man can pretend to be ICE and do the same thing, and that confusion is exactly what predators rely on. But, it gets worse… ICE has a pattern of detaining people they shouldn’t, then releasing them without belongings, without support, sometimes far from where they were taken… Now, apply that to a college student… away from family, in an unfamiliar place, suddenly without a phone, ID, or any way to get home. ICE agents are illegally taking whoever they can… and every time people excuse it, the line moves further. Because the second a country normalizes masked armed men grabbing any women in public, especially college students, and refusing to identify themselves… That’s not only NOT public safety… it’s actively putting every woman at risk.

The Shallow State
The Shallow State@OurShallowState·
**** We can really summarize everything about the sticky and dangerous situation America is in, by two questions during the Tulsi Gabbard hearings. **** Gabbard danced around both of these questions and offered no answer. Every one of us needs to take this in. This is our PREDICAMENT. One question was whether Intelligence advised Trump that if Iran was attacked, they'd very likely close the Strait of Hormuz as a retaliatory tactic. (Shallow State: Of course they did.) Gabbard stammered and evaded the question in her non-response. The other question was whether Intelligence had affirmatively determined that Iran posed an imminent nuclear threat. (Shallow State: Of course they did not.) This question was laid out brilliantly by Jon Ossoff, who pretty much showed that Intel HADN'T done so, and Gabbard's way of dealing with this, was to say that only the President had the ability to determine what threats are or are not imminent. Ossoff nailed her in his response, but she stayed awkwardly silent. Let's process this. We're IN a war. The Strait of Hormuz IS closed; this IS strangling supply and increasing price. It's not something that is "imminent" - this is something that IS happening. Moreover, allies have uniformly REFUSED to put their troops in harm's way to help Trump navigate ships through the Strait. And moreover, the top aide to the cabinet official testifying just RESIGNED because, he said, there was NO imminent nuclear threat leading to the attack. Despite these REALITIES, the choice made by Gabbard was to sit there and look dumb rather that buck Trump, to sit there and deny what her Intelligence showed, rather than put it forth. In other words - she chose to protect her fealty to Trump over her oath to America and the Constitution, during war. So - sports fans- tell me, what does this show? It shows we have a President WHOSE PATHOLOGY DEMANDS that fealty to him be protected EVEN WHEN it hurts America, its people, allies, and the world, in a significant and obvious way, and EVEN WHEN all that pain is because the President f*cked up. NOW LET'S GET TO THE PUNCH LINE: This is a midterm election year. And Trump's pathology which creates the dynamic that led to Gabbard's disingenuousness, NEEDS to be put out there!!! Who is going to do it? As the midterms approach, Dems will mostly speak to the economy, some will speak to other issues (like immigration) which are asked about in every freakin' political poll. These polls NEVER ask about Trump's stability, decline, or pathology - NEVER. Legacy media won't focus much on it either. It has to be Independent Media with potential to cross over. And THIS is why we're making the film UNFIT TOO, to be released before the midterms. Because the predicament that we're in - the predicament we're REALLY in - IS pathological, and it's not out there much at all, and it NEEDS to be out there - truthfully, by experts, science above partisanship, with Democracy on the line. I'm going to rest now. For a minute or two.

To be clear: I mean the entire album. The studio side is where the members' ids come out to frolic. If you can't get with that, I assume you skip "Revolution 9" on the White Album, too, ya lightweight.

A very dexterous DJ should play Soft Machine's “We Did It Again” and then follow each recitation of the title with the “Oh, don't do that” mantra in the Rolling Stones' “Midnight Rambler,” repeating the pattern until madness sets in.
